I ordered these beach themed wooden decorations to use on my tiered tray and I love how they look. They are solid wood, well made, and fully painted. The “books” are painted on all sides and the writing is clear and defined. The starfish are also well made and thoroughly painted and the wooden bead strand is a cute accent for the top. It’s a small set, but perfect.

The box is a bit too small for a box of tissues to fit, so I had to improvise by removing the box and trimming back the tissues. But it’s a really nice decor piece for my beach themed room so I don’t mind.

This is a really cute little set and has multiple uses. You can use them as one piece of decor or on a tiered tray.

I had higher expectations for this gift – and was disappointed when it arrived. First of all – something like this should be boxed by the seller. It’s not – came in a thin bubble bag – that was shipped in an Amazon bag. So, as you can imagine – wood dents/scratches easily — the white paint wore off on other blue pieces — it just doesn’t look all that fantastic. While made of wood – huge plus — the seller does a disservice by not providing a gift box or any box for shipping purposes.

I think this is cute and well made. I was reluctant about ordering this but am glad that I did. The blue in the book stack matches our downstairs 1/2 bath perfectly and I even got more starfish decor to incorporate with it from the dollar store the other day. I also appreciate the fact that it came with the twine bow already wrapped around the book stack. I’m not very good at making nice, neat twine bows.
